The Taxidermist, Roger Gidney, (as seen in photos on this page) began learning bird taxidermy in 1968
and has been an avid gamebird hunter all his life. He developed his skills mounting birds for the local hunters while attending
high school in a small town called Rainier, Oregon. Rainier is seated on the mighty Columbia River in the Great Pacific Northwest.
Roger honed his skills on all the abundant gamebirds to be found in the region. Eventually he moved to southern California
where he pursued his career in bird taxidermy. He has been a licensed Taxidermist for hunters far and wide since establishing
his business in 1974.
Cedar Glen Wholesale Bird Taxidermy has an excellent reputation
with hunters throughout Southern/Central California and thoughout the Country. We have been dealing primarily with the Wholesale
end of bird taxidermy throughout the United States since 1999.
